I Built StudyOS — A Lightweight Student Workspace with Vanilla JavaScript 🚀
Hey everyone! 👋
I recently built StudyOS, a lightweight student workspace designed to help organize studying in one place.
The main goal was simple: build a practical web application using HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript, without relying on frameworks or a backend.
✨ What can StudyOS do?
- 📊 Student dashboard
- 📚 Subject management
- 🎓 Course tracking
- ✅ Task and deadline management
- 📝 Rich text document editor
- 📅 Calendar
- 📈 Study progress tracking
- 🗂️ Flashcards
- 🔍 Search functionality
- 💾 LocalStorage data persistence
- 🌙 Light and dark themes
- 📤 Data export and import
Everything runs locally in the browser, so no account or backend is required.
🛠️ Built with
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Vanilla JavaScript
- LocalStorage
🎯 Why I built it
I wanted to challenge myself to build something that feels like a real application rather than just another landing page or small JavaScript exercise.
I’m also interested in improving the project based on real developer feedback.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback:
- What would you improve in the UI?
- What features would make StudyOS more useful?
- Are there any UX issues you notice?
- What would you change technically?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙌
