After spending way too long editing images one by one for my content, I built PixelBatch — a native macOS app that processes whole folders of images in one pass.
What it does:
Core tools
- Resize — to exact pixels, a percentage, or presets for Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and more. One image can be exported in multiple sizes at the same time (for example 1080×1080, 1200×630, and 1080×1920 in a single pass)
- Crop to exact dimensions or aspect ratios
- Convert between JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, and other formats
- Compress to a target quality or file size
- Batch-rename files with custom patterns
- Rotate and flip Retouch tools
- Remove Watermark — automatically finds and removes watermarks, logos, and text overlays, then reconstructs the pixels underneath. A manual area-selection fallback is also included
- Enhance — upscales images 4x with sharp reconstructed detail, great for low-resolution or compressed files
- Remove Background — one-click clean subject cutout
- Add Background — place a subject onto a new background Filters and effects — 30+ non-destructive adjustments including brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure, highlights, shadows, temperature, sepia, black and white, duotone, vintage presets, blur, sharpen, vignette, glow, emboss, edge detection, pixelate, cartoon, and more Branding — add your logo as a watermark or overlay custom text with full formatting control How it works
- Edit a whole folder at once, or open and edit a single image separately with the same tools
- Live preview before you commit — you see the result on a real image first
- Reusable presets to save your favorite pipelines
- Batch queue with progress tracking and per-file error reporting
- Output to a folder, ZIP, or PDF
- Runs 100% offline — no account, no cloud, your images never leave your Mac
