A story I can’t keep quiet about )

For about a year I ran a Threads account about open source alternatives and grew it to 32K followers. Around a month ago I figured I should optimize the process, so I built a network of AI agents that prepared the content for me and published it through the official Threads API.

For the agents to actually work together, I needed a tracker where they could orchestrate tickets. I went with Linear, which is a great tool. Everything was fine, except Linear wants money per seat, and I had zero desire to grow my already bloated pile of monthly subscriptions.

That’s how the idea came up: build a lite version of a tracker, something Linear-ish. The feature list grew every day, ideas showed up every hour ) what to improve, what to add. At some point it stopped being “lite” and turned into a full tracking system, so I figured I’d share it with the OSS community and keep developing it as an open source project.

Then Facebook banned my Threads account for supposedly violating community guidelines, and rejected my passport verification twice. So I lost the Threads audience, but I shipped a new OSS project as a Linear alternative, and I’m going to keep building it.

What’s in the box

  • Monorepo and a docker compose file. Up in a couple of commands. If you’re on Coolify, it’s even faster.
  • A normal tracker. Boards, views, initiatives, dashboards.
  • Agents on the same board as people. Give an agent a model, skills and tools, then delegate an issue to it or just @mention it in a comment.
  • REST API and an MCP server out of the box. So Claude or Cursor can drive it too.
  • Stack: Bun, Elysia, Next.js, Drizzle, Postgres.
  • AGPL-3.0. Your server, your database, your model, no per-seat pricing.

Go poke around )
