DevRel의 의미

From my experience in community and program management, I’ve seen that developers do not just need documentation or announcements. They need clarity, guidance, feedback loops, and real human connection. They want to feel heard, and they want to know that the people behind a product actually care about their success.

In many ways, I’ve already been doing DevRel through the communities and programs I’ve supported. I’ve helped people (especially students) learn, organized spaces and hackathons where builders can grow, shared opportunities, and worked to make technical experiences more accessible and engaging. That is what DevRel is to me, not just promoting a product, but helping people succeed with it.

I am beginning to see DevRel as one of the most natural ways to combine my strengths. I enjoy helping people understand tools, creating spaces where developers can grow, and turning conversations into real value for both the community and the product. For me, DevRel is where technical knowledge meets empathy, communication, and community building.

At the end of the day, DevRel is about relationships. It is about understanding developers, supporting them, and creating a community around the technology.
